Role of Youth in making India Self-Reliant
Introduction :
" The great challenge of transforming India can be achieved through youth as they are enabled with the ideas, ambitions and abilities " says, Dr.APJ.Abdul Kalam.
What a powerful statement ! Yes, I totally agree with his words as everyone can have the ideas in their mind and some has the ambition to achieve it too. But only the youth can make it real with their involvement.
The real meaning of Self reliant :
First of all, we should accept the truth that somehow we all depend on others for our needs. Self reliant means to be " self-sufficient ", not relying on the things to feel happiness but making ourselves strong and fulfilled with our own inner confidence.
We, as an Indians, should be the one to decide who we want to be and how we want to get there.
How to make India, a Self reliant country?
It is said that Self-reliant India based on 5 pillars: Economy, Infrastructure, System, Democracy and Demand.
Let's start from the last one, Demand which is the main source of making India, Self reliant. The production should be enough to fulfill the demands and supplies of our country. The more exports and less imports, (like China & Japan) automatically give the power, self-confidence and make our country Self-reliant.
Next, Democracy should be the real one by which we can say that we are independent. Unlike some seniors leaders who can do anything for their own sake, without considering the condition of people, and leaving the country as an orphan child, the real decrocratic leader should be selfless and patriotic. It would be better if youths who have these qualities, should play the major role in our Indian democracy. So that they can feel the responsibilities and use their abilities.
The allegations of corruption, bribery and so on against the legal System of our country can be rectified if the youths kept it in mind. Everyone may say that the penalties must be strengthened to prevent the crimes & wrong doings. But, there is no need to protest and wait for the justice if they themselves prevent mistakes from happening.
And the Infrastructure, the basic systems and services that are necessary for a country, can also be improved if youths participate themselves voluntarily in social works and do their services to the nation.
Last but not least, "The role of youth in making India Self reliant " lies in the first one (i.e.) Economy.
As for as our Indian economy is concerned, the unemployment and under-employment seems to be the main reasons for the fall in the G.D.P.
For this, we should have to follow one of the most powerful quotes by Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
"The youth need to be enabled to become job-generators from job-seekers"
The youth should develop the attitude of improving their own skills and by that support the nation economically . Instead of working for other countries, they should start working for our own country in many ways. One of such powerful ways is Agriculture. Of course, they have the responsibility to save our wealth of agriculture. Through agriculture and organic forms, our people can stay healthy. No need to spend money for medical expenses which is one of the most eeffective savings for an individual, a family and also for our Indian economy.
Conclusion :
Hence, we can say that youth plays an indispensable role in making India, a Self-reliant country. Jai Hind !

Being invisible...
We all run for the treasure;
Having no idea of
What is the real pleasure.
In this dreamy world,
We all pray for the power;
Having no idea of
What the Almighty plans to shower.
Thou may have the query
Why is He so passive?
I tell thee not to worry
As His works are always massive.
Oh crazy people!
Don't you have patience?
Oh lazy minds!
Are you asking me to change the nation?
If I get the chance
To be invisible like Him,
I can't tolerate the attrocities
Which need the powerful language- SILENCE.
